The world today looks at the England and sees another stepping stone in history achieved.

Stepping Stone history was made again tonight, by allowing same sex couples to hold a Civil Marriage – while not perfect it’s a step closer to “True” equality and one that can be reviewed and changed to accommodate all, takes into account the thoughts from the gay community, religious groups and society itself.

The end result is another step closer to securing equality and legal rights. We have a long way to go but the UK has proved how matters like this can be dealt with and handled with radical honesty and professionalism, debated well and to offer a fairer society.
